Born Christmas morning in a small rural town in the Northern Territory, Avani moved to Melbourne in 2017 to pursue her creative passions. Nomadic at heart, Avani travelled around Melbourne sharing her passion anywhere she could living on “oohs” “ahhs” and “awws”. She found a home at the (Then) Dan Poets and now at the Cherry Tree. Avani identifies as an “overshare extraordinare, part time poet, almost artist, but mostly moron”. Unafraid and unashamed, Avani lives to share raw and uncensored truths ‘n tales from the deep, dark, sometimes meaningful but often ridiculous caverns of her brain.
