This week at Cherry Poets we are temporarily relocating to a fabulous Footscray venue as our beloved Cherry Tree is closed over Easter. Just for this week then it’s business as usual.

This special Easter Saturday edition super-gooey happy to bring you an artist all the way from Vietnam (where she lives), a very talented comedian and poet by the name of Ankita Ghosh. Some of you have met Ankita before on the ‘Unmuted’ Zoom comedy gigs, and for others she’ll be a delighful surprise. And of course there will be open mic.

Ankita Ghosh is a creative director by day and by-accident comedian at night. She hails from India, lives in Vietnam, and has made people laugh across Los Angeles, London, Edinburgh, Kuala Lumpur, Saigon, Hanoi… Clearly, that escalated quickly in 3 years! Much like Indian food, her comedy is spicy. Hold on to your pants!
