This week at Cherry Poets, catch feature poet Kate Lines all the way from Goulburn, plus open mic. Cherry Poets runs every Saturday from 2-5pm – open mic sign up from 2pm, show starts 2.30pm. Delicious beer and food can be gotten from the bar.
MC this week will be Steve Smart (Cherry Poets has a rotating roster of hosts).
Kate is a Canberra original with no award winning credits, no published work and no feathers in caps. She is a naturally curious human teetering on the eve of the sublime, submerged in a rich inner world adorned with the natural and a rediscovery of the beauty of words.
