‘Let Your Hair Down’ Open Mic Poetry Picnic

Slama and Soul Lounge acknowledges that our slam takes place on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and on Kaurna land, respectively. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, no treaty was signed and it always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

We are bringing you three poetry events in the month of March and Let Your Hair Down is the delicious middle part of that poetry sandwich.

Let Your Hair Down’ is a wholesome, poetry picnic for us to reconnect as a community, share pieces we have been nibbling at, and share our desires for our community moving forward. To join us please secure a $2 ticket, here, so we can have accurate numbers for, you know, COVID.
