MSW Fresh Voices Workshop: Intro to Spoken Word with Andi Stewart

Melbourne Spoken Word presents a special Fresh Voices workshop, in partnership with Yarra Libraries, designed for those newer to spoken word, with Victorian Poetry Slam Champ, Andi Stewart.

Andi Stewart is a queer galaxy in the shape of a poem. His poetry hits the sweet spot between radical honesty and just-uncomfortable-enough to warrant second place. You may know him from the Opera House stage, his features at Griffinslam or Slamalamadingdong, or as the front row heckler at all your favourite zoom poetry rooms. His words explore queer identity and trans masculinity, privilege and oppression, and the kind of love that can only be expressed through copious amounts of metaphors.
