Poetic Express ft. Peter Davis

Hello everyone, next Tuesday night is Poetic Express night, and the feature performer is PETER DAVIS.

Melbourne poetry has much to thank Peter for. Apart from several beautiful books, including the iconic Cravings For A Spectacular Sun, he started poetry readings at The Dancing Dog Cafe which led to many poetry gigs there, establishing Footscray as a hotspot of poetry for many years. His work in promoting poetry through hosting shows on 3CR has seen it become a voice for poetry to this day. His poetry is immensely relatable and beautifully written, and listening to him reading it is an experience not to be missed.

There will also be open mic poetry of course, plus the wonderful hospitality of The Brothers Public House.
