Slamalamadingdong! FEAT. JAG
May 23 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Back on a premiere stage and in our new home, the Brunswick Ballroom
Slama is a space where we celebrate intersectional community and encourage Artists to bring their absolute best work to the stage.
In MAY we will be featuring the incomparable, fresh and emerging poet and interdisciplinary Artist known as JAG.
WHO IS JAG?
Jag is a raw, genre-bending artist from Melbourne. Incorporating elements of non-naturalistic theater and poetry, she returns with her ‘outsider soul’ project, The Artist In Question. Featuring the character of Soul Sister 37, she revels in satire through her lyricism and use of keys. Her raspy style is influenced by the oddities of Frank Zappa, Solange, and Arthur Brown.
