Speak your soul

Speak your soul is a WOC run event designed to encourage WOC spoken word and visual performers to share their art in safe and inclusive environment. The event is ideal for both newcomers to the spoken word scene as well as those who are more experienced. 

As this is a first time event, it will be held in Carlton Gardens (Near Ornamental Lake). Poets who would like to participate in the open mic component of the event can sign up by emailing [email protected] However, if time permits, those who feel called to share their poetry on the night will be welcomed.

Carlton Gardens is wheelchair accessible via all main entrances. There are also bathroom facilities, including accessible bathroom facilities located around the gardens and these will be pointed out at the state of the event.
