Amy Bodossian is an acclaimed spoken word legend, published poet, and cabaret starlet and has been captivating audiences for over 15 years with the striking combination of whimsy, wit, irreverence and profound sensitivity that has made her one of Melbourne’s most beloved performers. She’s appeared on ABC’s Spicks and Specks and Please Like Me, performed at major festivals across Australia, and headlined all of Melbourne’s top poetry events. She’s been nominated for a Green Room Award and won the 2017 Melbourne Spoken Word Convenor’s Choice Award.

Joel Deane is a poet, novelist, journalist and speechwriter. He has published six books, including three collections of poetry. His last collection of poetry, Year of the Wasp, won the Vincent Buckley Poetry Prize, and was a finalist for the John Bray Poetry Award, Prime Minister’s Literary Award, and the Judith Wright Calanthe Award. He has also been a finalist for the Walkley Book Award, the Melbourne Prize for Literature, and the Anne Elder Award. His third novel, Judas Boys, will be published in 2023. Joel works as a freelance writer.
