Nour Alamar performs ‘Chandelier’ at Melbourne Spoken Word’s Fresh Voices on May 9, 2017.
Nour Alamar has been taking her words to the stage since 2015. Her Jordanian roots carry with them the poetic legacy of the Arab world, which lends a grounded spirituality to her stage presence. Nour is a firm believer in the power of voice to transform, create and connect meaningfully to ourselves and the world around us. She is a frequent traveler on the open mic circuit in Melbourne and has a special place in her heart for the barefoot, mic-free stage.
